An attempt to protest Trump‘s policies on illegal immigration resulted in an epic fail, as the plan to deliver hundreds of flowers to Trump tower ended with the carrier dropping them all on the ground in front of the revolving doors to the building, and the doorman subsequently throwing them into the trash.
The event was executed by an activist named Stephanie Mercades who wanted to highlight her disagreement with Trump by presenting the billionaire with 1000 Yellow Dahlias, which is Mexico’s national flower, all with their own personalized note from a Latino immigrant. Though her delivery never made it, Stephanie did at least get the consolation prize of one of the lone remaining petals off the ground.
